What to ask before you hire
Good questions protect you and save the provider time. Ask these before you agree to any work.
- Is the crane rented with a certified operator?
- Who provides rigging and a signal person?
- Is there a minimum booking, and how are travel and overtime charged?
- Do you need a lift plan or site visit first?
- What insurance do you carry, and can you send a certificate?
- Who handles any permits for the street or lane?
